Laser hair removal works by targeting the pigment in hair follicles, but it only affects hair in its active growth phase — which is why multiple sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, are necessary to catch all the hair over a full cycle.
In the first couple of sessions, you may not notice a dramatic difference. It’s usually by session 3 or 4 that patients start to see meaningfully reduced regrowth and finer hair texture.
By the time you reach sessions 6 through 8, most patients experience significant long-term reduction, though some fine maintenance touch-ups down the line are normal, especially in hormonally sensitive areas.
